ABOUT ME
I’m a mum of one, a wife, and a Pilates Instructor, and I know how busy life can be, but I believe it is important to take care of yourself. This is why I got into Pilates. I had a road accident in 2013, I was on a bike and was hit by a van, although there was no bones broken, my back hurt. Nothing the doctors did made it any better. Then, I was recommended Pilates by the hospital physiotherapists, and that moment altered the course of my life. After a few years of self practise I realised I wanted to take my Pilates to the next level. After having had a child, several years went by when all my focus went on just him and I realised I wanted something new that was just for me, this led me to starting on the journey to become a certified Body Control teacher.
BODY CONTROL PILATES
Body Control Pilates is based on the original 'classical' exercises, created by Joseph Pilates (1880-1967), that built strength and balanced that strength with flexibility.
The Body Control method breaks down the original exercises so that you can enjoy the benefits of Pilates safely and effectively, regardless of your age and fitness level. The exercises are taught step-by-step and are based on sound movement principles that develop body awareness and control.
